Mowing that suits the mountain you're on
Lawns up here don't all behave the same way. A Glenbrook or Blaxland lawn is usually warm-season grass — kikuyu or buffalo — and through spring and summer it grows fast enough to need a cut every week or fortnight. By Katoomba and Blackheath the season is shorter, growth slows right down over winter, and a lawn that needs fortnightly mowing in December might not need touching for six weeks in July.
That's why I don't sell a fixed schedule. We start with what your lawn is actually doing, and adjust through the year.

Regular mowing keeps your lawn healthy and consistent throughout the year. Visits are scheduled to suit your home and the season, so you don’t need to think about it.

I mow higher in summer than most people expect. Longer leaf shades the soil, holds moisture and crowds out weeds — it's the single easiest thing you can do for a lawn through a dry Mountains January, and it costs nothing.
How often?
Most clients sit on a regular cycle through the warm months and drop back over winter. No lock-in contract — if you want to pause, just tell me.

Yes, included as standard. If you'd rather keep them for compost, just say and I'll leave them bagged.

Me or my offsider. Atlas is a small local team, so it's the same familiar faces rather than a different crew each fortnight. I quote every job myself and you'll have my number from the quote through to the invoice.

No. Plenty of clients book one-off cuts, especially before a sale, an inspection or family visiting. If you do want regular mowing there's no contract and no cancellation fee.

Not a problem, and it's a lot of what I do. Very long grass sometimes needs two passes or a brushcutter first — I'll tell you upfront if that's the case rather than surprising you on the invoice.
